About Me

Welcome to my About Me page! I’m so glad you’re here!

School Counselor Courtney provides inspiring and actionable resources for all helping professionals! I’m excited to help you in your work.

What Are You Looking For?

You are passionate, an advocate and champion for the students, families and staff you serve.  Due to this passion, you want resources that are engaging, easy to use, and follow best practices!

At the same time, developing resources is time intensive!

For example, we address crises, hold meetings, provide lessons, have individual and group meetings, complete documentation, and focus on the needs of others! Some of this happens before lunch!

As a result of these busy days, we want to make sure we do our best to help students with up to date resources that meet the needs of our students! Finding the time to create those resources can be difficult and we are looking for easy solutions!

If this describes you, you certainly have come to the right place!

About Me

I’d like to share a little about myself. With 14 years experience as a mental health therapist, turned school counselor, I have served in brick and mortar and virtual settings. On a personal level, my son was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder as a toddler. Understandably, I have a unique perspective on helping children!

I live in South Carolina with my husband and two sons, ages 6 and 10.  Outside of work, I love to play games with family, read, and anything Harry Potter!  I would love to get to know you and how I can help you!

If you’re ready to start making your work easier, check out my blog here.  You can also find my Teacher Pay Teacher store here.
